CBHDA takes pride in advocating for behavioral health before the legislature and state agencies to better serve each of California’s 58 counties and two cities. We fight to defend adequate state and federal funding for our member counties, so that they can provide crucial behavioral health services, while supporting workforce development investments to address a significant shortage of public behavioral health professionals in California. We lobby for important legislative change.
